I was listening to the radio station KCPW 88.3 in Salt Lake City, Utah on my way home Sept 12 at about 6:15 and heard Betsy Taylor talk on Hybrid cars and David Hermance talk on the amount of gas we are using in this country . For the last 2.5 years I have been using an additive in my tank of gas and have tried it on 6 different makes of cars with an increase of 2 to 5 MPG depending on the size of the engine. I tried it on a Ford Escort (2.9 liter) with a 10 gallon tank and I was able to go an extra 50 miles on the tank of gas. It increase my mile per gallon by 5 mpg. I also tried it on a Jeep V8 5.9 liter with a 22 gallon tank and was able to go another 52.8 miles which gave me an extra 2.4 MPG. I have had the car tested for the emission test and it pased with no problems. I think if a good amount of cars had this in there tank we could cut back on the total useage of foreign oil. If the Postal Service used it I think it would save them millions of dollars a year and the armed services it to would also save millions on there fuel cost. It runs about $2.75 per gallon so its about the same price as regular gas and I would sell the idea for $18.95 and that means in about 2 to 3 tanks of gas it would pay for itself and then your savings would go on forever. I would like someone to test it out and I would pay for the additive on any test. I have letters from two other people that tried it also with good success. I would be interested in talking to you further about this idea and the additive I use. Thank you.

Ken,

Thanks for your comment. I'm intrigued by the additive you're using. Is it something you've developed yourself? If not, what company is manufacturing it? Do you have any background information you can send about it?

I came across it by accident and have refined the use of it by adjuting the amount per car to get the best milage ,I have tested the first car for the IM test to see if it would pass and there was no difference . As I said the car improved from 22 -24 MPG to 28-36 MPG this first car was a Ford Escort .I havent look at this internet site for a while Thank for your reply.
