Hi, heard this program on KUNMfm today, 03/14/10

Wanted to congratulate you on covering some nonWestern women's experiences with institutionalized violence against women and the cultural underpinnings of it without the "shame" finger of Western culture wagging in the faces of people who haven't had the privileges of education, wealth, etc.

It's a very useful program and I hope it furthers the conversation.

I'm also encouraged that it raises consciousness among Westerners that struggles for liberation are not over, that we are not living in a post- fill in the blank age and that fundamental human rights are still the most important priority for our species, particularly those of women.

Thank you,

Rogi Riverstone
